Girlfriend's dad worked here many years ago, and said he knew loads of people who had died of cancer! He got out though, but due to money, he has not spoken to girlfriend for over 10 years!

Hi Matt. When are you going to put up footage from the north side of Holton heath? Looking forward to that as much bigger site and not so easy to get in. Many thanks

I delivered here around 20 years ago. I remember having to turf out your pockets of lighters or phones etc and security would put them in a locker before you entered site. I remember going to a bunkered building and seeing shells on the table. It’s called “gravity smart campus” now, they’re building some business park. A railway line used to connect by jct 23 m5.

My Mum worked out there during WWII as a stoker known as the smallest stoker in the UK--she turned down an award because she did not wish to receive an award for making bombs--she was allocated the work--no choice in WWII--my Dad was in the desert in Egypt part of the Royal Engineers....

Oh well, if BAE have suddenly decided to release this 'prime for development' land, you can bet the housing market is coming close to topping out some time soon. I wonder will the bubble burst as hard as last time ;o)

What a huge area - must have taken some time to demolish all those buildings! Any idea what the remaining buildings are used for? Great drone footage and music as always - well done 👍

Housing estate next such a shame.Councils, planners and developers continue their relentless pursuit in eradicating Britain’s wartime heritage up and down the country.Maybe its just me seeing beyond the concrete structures, runways, pillboxes etc i think most people couldn’t care less. But if everyone considered for a minute what all the people of the uk had to do to keep the enemy at bay during the most significant time this country has gone through perhaps then a few of these now rare sites could be kept out of respect for all those who did their duty.

Potentially - Tesla is looking at this site for Car production. Railway link and M5 next door are ideal.

This site is going to be the first Smart campus , with factories, shops , offices and residential etc,the site is now called " gravity' ha e a Google, very interesting and weird. Elon Musk visited last year to see about viability. I live in the town and no one is talking about it ??? It's very strange
