As for resolution, according to @squaredream , the iPhone is running the game at a higher resolution than the android version. The iPhone is running the game at 731p. and Android at 624p. The ROG 8 Pro uses 6 watts of power. The iPhone 15 Pro Max uses 5 watts of power in this game. I don't think Android is running the game at sub 620p resolution tbh.. i have played enough games to differentiate between 720p and 1080p. I can tell however, the game on Android running at 720p+ resolution. I'm using Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 device and the performance is absolutely amazing at maxed, little to no dips in fps whatsoever and picture quality is definitely not 624p as claimed by others.

From my understanding, it's base resolution is 600p but upscaled to a higher resolution. Similar to PS5. It doesn't natively run games at 4k but instead 2k and upscales to 4k. However, for WW and android, we are unsure what the upscale resolution is. But we do know that the iPhone does indeed have higher base resolution and upscaled resolution. Just again unsure what the actual upscaled resolutions are.

@@DameTech that I could agree on, but as far as I could tell it looks slightly better than earlier version of Genshin on my device, so I assume it's around 840p resolution. Recent genshin resolution update let me play the game at 1080p and my phone can upscale to 1.5k using software but that upscaling technique is currently not working with Wuthering Waves.

Optimisation should be about equal here. The iPhone just has higher peak power (thus less drops) and higher efficiency at the same time, but lacks almost any cooling whatsoever. Basically Apple shoot themselves in the knee to avoid winning.

Codm isn't really demanding anymore for 2022-2024 flagship devices, therefore, the next best thing we have to look at is features. For codm specifically, the rog 8 pro has more features with built in air triggers and armory crate software. But again it depends on the game. For warzone mobile, the iPhone has exclusive access to higher graphics for those who love graphics. It's very subjective at the end of the day. But if you look at features it will help you pick the right phone for gaming

Yeah this game is not mid tier device friendly. From what I've seen, an iPhone 14 series or higher is needed for this game, unless you then choose to play at low settings. I'm not a fan of low settings tbh. But you could always wait for the iPad Mini 7 and make that your dedicated gaming device when it releases in the Fall.

If you like controller then hands down the iPad Pro, if you like touch controls then I typically use my ROG 8 Pro more. But for any arpg or mmo games, I use my iPad Pro. ROG 8 Pro is mainly for FPS gaming for me personally

how did this person get the resolution of 624p lol. Displays res has to be specific or games dont scale properly and cause performance issues. Games run at native res unless you change the display resolution from android display options which the minimum should be HD which is 720p if the ROG supports switching resolution. As far as ive read it doesn't so it runs at native 1080p. Also the gpu scheduler on android doesnt always run at max speed . Usually like a Desktop gpu it runs as high as the game target fps needs it too. So the gpu usuage is affected by the GPU current clock speed. For example a GPU can be 100% running at 300 MHz but be 50% at 600 MHz. Both Androids CPU and GPU behave this way.

Best performing Android gaming phone is not Samsung s ultra series. It always some Chinese phone who is rank 1st in gaming not Samsung in Android. Best premium Chinese phones best at gaming are OnePlus 12 , iqoo 12 , Vivo x100 then Samsung s24 ultra comes. Samsung phones always fluctuates in fps. Best performing Android phone brand is always changing means this year OnePlus 12 it doesn't mean next year OnePlus 13 will be it can be any other company.

I have 15PM and it's really uncomfortable to fight in the open world due to stuttering. There is also a noticeble lags in main city aswell, i've failed few times a dashing quest because control lags LOL. Also i was very surprised how my severly outdated PC with 7700k /GTX1080 performs much smoother, i can feel the framerate is rockstable and there are no control delay at all.

@@bigcdub Sure it's smooth when you fighting one enemy with starting resonators like this guy on a vid, but sadly, it's not the endgame experience, just a starting location. Try level up further and play Jinyang or Calciaro with proper Echo / ult spam / timing combos / member' swap and you'll see what i mean.

No issues here whatsoever. 15pm plays at max settings without a single hiccup. Im using 20w cooling radiator as its hot at my place around 38c, cooler keeps phone temp under 36c.

I don't know because of the chipset or the game optimization. My dimensity 9200+ can't even run this game at lowest setting 60 fps. It just capped at 50, nothing change in high setting, when combat it drop to 40fps it feel so uncomfortable compare to genshin😢

​@@spotifex3214I have Dimenstiy 9000 in my OnePlus pad it can run genshin impact on 60 fps, bgmi on 90 fps , brawl stars on 144 fps , Clash of clans 144 fps.So I can say Dimenstiy 9200 in your phone is new so it takes some months to optimise for games. Dimensity 9200 is 100% capable chipset if they optimise and they will for sure you have to wait 3 months for update.
