I have tried all the other mutton recipes posted by you but this was special. I have always loved the Kashmiri Rogan josh but cooking it was another kind of joy! Such a unique style of cooking the meat in just spices and curd such that it absorbs the flavor. No onions no nothing.. Amazing!

However, your recipe for Rogan Josh will be in the book too. I would like to know if I can use some Ratan Jot to give the curry some extra colour. I know the Kashmiri chilli powder does this, which is good. But, I have Ratan Jot. I would like to use it as it has been recommended to me as a n excellent colouring agent.. Any tips or suggestions? Kashmiri Chilli powder has less heat and more colour. 6 tsp is required to bring that colour. However you can add less ..the curry will have a less bright colour 😊
