I had a cousin that passed from pneumonia in her 30s. She had good health care, but the pneumonia. I was hospitalized with pneumonia for a week. I had a huge hole in my lung. Pneumonia can be very serious. There’s no telling how long she waited before she went to the hospital. It’s not easily diagnosed.

Sorry for your loss and glad you recovered. A few years ago I almost died from a pulmonary embolism. I knew my breathing was labored but I just attributed it to a chest cold.
