I've seen Jimi and the Who at Stringfellows King Mojo club in 1967 and was amazed by both and still a fan of both..but Jimi's guitar playing changed me forever.I was stood 6ft away and still to this day amazed by him.Keith Moon comes a close second as a musician.

Roger is such a humble and down to earth bloke. And at the same time one of the greatest rock legends the world has ever seen. I remember his iconic performance on Woodstock, when he sang See Me Feel Me, with Townshend doing his famous windmill and Moon banging away like a madman... And this was way back in 1969... And he's still here, still going strong. Absolutely amazing...

I saw Jimi Hendrix live at six stadium in Seattle when I was nine years old, my uncle and I were across the street at the laundromat doing laundry and at that time people said you could just walk in and it did'nt really matter if you paid or not, one thing I remember was that the volume was crazy loud.

Yes, it's loud for sure. A 100W Marshall Stack can be clearly heard 1/2 mile away, when cranked. Jimi used a minimum of 3 stacks, daisychained together. Crazy loud.

The interviewer said Daltrey had met Hendrix several times. Why do people say that? You can only "meet" someone ONCE. You can meet up with people a thousand times...but only meet them once. If Daltrey had been with Hendrix everyday for 10 years...would you say Daltrey met Hendrix 3,650 times?
