Would he be the GOAT if Djokovic achieved 30 slams?

My favorite player of all time, the most beautiful and flawless technique of all time in my opinion!

Some say Dimitrov's slice is better lol. He uses it more but it doesn't mean it's better, not even close imo. Under pressure, Dimitrov's slice will faulter while Federer's slice under pressure gets him back into the point more often than not.

It’s the same people that said Nadal’s net game is better than Roger… Rafa had a high ratio because he only came to the net when needed,while old Roger will force himself to the net more often than not to shorten the rallies. Of course Roger made more mistakes when most of his net plays were way harder.

The things Roger could do with a slice backhand was amazing. Only Ken Rosewall could do as much with a slice.

The slicefest against Youhzny at the AO is one of my favorite Roger points. Critics at the time said Youhzny had a better single hander than Roger. Problem was - Roger was a better player with better strategy. I think it was Agassi who said he always felt like he was 2 shots behind what Federer was seeing develop in the rally.

Roger federer had the most technical game. He was not a slammer he beat his opponents with smarts and great shots.

Slice backhand was my favorite shot too. I had a topspin backhand for returns and put aways, but it was almost all slice otherwise. You can do so much with it!

I'll hit those crosscourt backhand slice shots in a match at times, its very effect to win points 😉

Струны и ракетка многое дают, но без феноменальной техники и чувства точки удара конечно некуда 😊

Magnificent collection! There are more though, dropping opponents with slice!

Weaker… his backhand is probably the best one hander in the history of the sport, due to the sheer versatility of the shot and what he could pull off with it

His slice made up for his weaker back hand. More than make up, imo.
@danielkarpinsky9721Ай бұрын
Weak backhand ? Wake up to reality.
@slam5Ай бұрын
@@danielkarpinsky9721 weaker. don't take my word for it. his opponents consistently hit to his backhand. that tell you something.

@@slam5 oh my bad bro truly i am sorry coz i read weak not weaker 🙈 if i saw weaker i wouldnt respond...yeah it was weaker then his forehand yet still a big weapon at the same time. Its one handed so naturally it has to be weaker and Rafa topspin is too much most times to handle and Nole baseline game detto..other than that he didnt have ahything to play into if u were his opponent so guys played into his backhabd most of the time yet still they lost.
@tdane5017Ай бұрын
@@slam5they had to. He had one of the best forehands ever. It was the only option. But overall his backhand was pretty damm good. He could certainly hit winners off that side from anywhere on the court.

@@tdane5017 I’m not saying his is no good just relatively weak to his forehand.
