Very cool too see as a table tennis fan. Fan Zhendong is a Top 2 player there in the last 8-10 years and the reigning Olympic champion. The tall guy next to Fed at the beginning for the photo is Wang Liqin, a three time singles world champion in the 2000s, he is among the legends of the sport.

For those who don't know fan Zhendong, he's been one of the most consistent table tennis player of all time, probably played the best table tennis match of all time against Ma long in 2017, multiple times n1, won the olympics, top 3 best backhand of all time, top 3 best footwork of all time, probably the best chiquita ever. And those are just some input. It's funny to see how wrong he's on a tennis court considering what a savage he's in a table😅

Fun to see Fan, who is a beast on in table tennis, struggle in tennis. A huge difference in swing construction and follow through. He was definitely using ping pong style swings which don’t cut it in tennis.

'Cause his forehand is compromised for his backhand.Doesn't rotate his body and has small swings,squats to lift the ball. Get a good Korean penholder and his technique wouldn't be that different.

Fan clearly had little or none tennis playing experience, but I am impressed how his feet works. So balanced and always moving. Somehow I feel today's table tennis game translates into tennis pretty well, much better than badminton or squash. Looks incredibly fun to see them in there.
