Doctor Harry Edwards, I remember him from UC Berkeley and Warrior games in the mid 80 thru mid 90s. He was a big DEI push then, and he paraded around the Warriors like he was a God. At UCB he was known as a professor with full classes but he rarely attended. Student teachers usually taught for him. He was also know to be involved with female students. He was a Al Sharpton Jesse Jackson of the Bay Area. Pay up to elevate DEI. He was big around the 49ers too. I remember seeing him.

At first, I thought it was a joke when I heard that the NFL grants extra draft picks to teams who hire minority coaches. But it is not a joke. This open and hostile discrimination against white coaches is real. To make this more clear and transparent why not just spot teams 3 points at start of the game (for teams with black head coaches)? Or maybe teams with white coaches have to get 11 yards for a first down? Don’t do this stuff in the back room when people don’t understand make it clear and visible to everyone. And why doesn’t the NFL grant extra draft picks to teams who draft white players? Where is their commitment to diversity for the players? but I really like spotting teams with black coaches to three points to start the game and see how long that will last.
