I remember watching this amazing team and players, especially in Italy 90. Roger Milla is a legend! I didn't eat the day they lost against the English. Sad day. All of Central America was waving the Cameroonian flag, they shocked the world! I was just about 14 years old, 1990 was a WC I remember very well. Great times.

none True! That was and still is because of the ceiling put by their European coaches who set their limits. The European coaches sabotaged their psychological preparedness when they reached the latter stages of the game. Had they been employing their own home grown coaches they would have probably won several world cups by now. No team in world cup history has ever won the world cup using a foreign coach! That is why in Russia 2018 I am going with Tunisia and Senegal for they have local home grown coaches this time.

I met a guy in Washington DC who told me that he was part of the Tanzanian team in the 1980s. He exchanged his Jersey with Milla and and he still has that milla's Jersey to this day. I was surprised.

The officiating in that match against England was a lot to be desired. Watching that game I could see that the referee literally handed the game to the losing England team.
