the best part about One Piece is after building up everything for years, to show you how strong Roger and PRIME Whitebeard were, It still amazes you that Luffy isn't even close to that level yet. These are in the end characters that don't affect the main plot of one piece as both are dead, yet since day 1 we've always had this aura of mystery when it came to Roger, to finally see his power in our own eyes is incredible, I got goosebumps seeing this for the first time.

This is honest to god my favorite scene in all of OP so far, specifically when it cuts to Roger and he's just standing there, arms open like he's about to embrace Whitebeard in a hug, but his face is lit up and his eyes are red and the haki travels through his sword... fucking chills. I like how in Odens flashback, he's presented as the best of the best. In a way the tropes of a main character. To be amazing and monstrous. A terrifying presence for his enemies... true and finally someone that isn't just plain hating him, i appreciate his reactions because he is overreacting in an authentic way, one of the only ones showing true emotions in that style of reacting ...others just scream like monkeys with obvious fake-overreacting for views and likes, like these stupid french group-reactors in demon slayer for example, like one character literally just breathes and they're freaking out ..every single frame of the anime they're freaking out and it's just extremely annoying, they just look like npc's rotating their animations (one time in demon slayer there was a key-scene with big animation and like in the middle of that scene, in that moment when the scene slowed down and literally nothing happened, one of the group out of nothing just started opening his mouth, screaming and absolutely freaking out, like instead of doing it when the big animation happened ->biggest sign for fake overreacting because of just randomly freaking out for nothing, as i said like npc's)..another fake-reactor is j-stars, many moments where you notice his obvious fake-reacting and one time he just ripped his shirt khan therefore has real reactions, he is loud and sometimes a little annoying but i don't mind, the best mashups just consist of baxta, khan and hibou ..these 3 are the top 3 legends of the best authentic reacting ...i also love khan's personality, he is pretty down to earth
