Thank you for all the work that you do!! I really struggled as a teenager when my voice changed and became monotone for a while. I bought your book, ‘set your voice free!’ Because it exemplified what I wanted completely! I’ve been using your exercises ever since, and they’ve helped me express myself and get out and perform in musicals, as well as sing for a cover band! All with just your exercises and the guidance of a few individuals! I find myself enjoying the practice again, after rehabbing most of my body from a tbi a few years ago, I’m using mainly your exercises to retrain my voice after recovering from the tracheostomy, and my return to inexpressive vocal prison once again. Once I’m playing my instruments again, I can’t wait to show off how much better I’ve trained my voice through, again, using mostly your exercises, but now meticulously recording, and remaining critical of my ease, jaw and posture. I’ve been noticing how many people that struggle to use middle voice, thrust their jaw, or let their neck jut out, and how keeping my chin in was a big obstacle for me after the surgery, in reacquiring my mix, as my deep neck flexors were asleep, so the resonance wasn’t traveling up. I mostly wanted to say Thank you, thank you!! A thousand times thank you!! But I’d also love to see you address that topic🙌🔥

Wow! You are amazing and such an inspiration. I'm so glad my training was so helpful to you. And this is indeed a great topic that will definitely go on my list of video topics to address. But can I say again how impressed I am with what an overcomer you are!

So this was 7 years ago and isn't the most popular video, but for the people who are here despite that: Remember that there are many online music instructors I'm no professional, but don't take everything one instructor says as solid fact. You can try watching others About the inhale, kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6vVeYZ3e7tge68 Here's a good video on about to inhale through the mouth. There's plenty of other videos out there too
