AT&T is #2 actually, Verizon being #1 and then Sprint followed by T-Mobile. AT&T here in Michigan is great! I love it with my iPhone :D

Yeah i went to buy it and it end up costing me 199,99+tax without the activation fees. But seriously your 35$ plan is amazing i dont have anything like that in montreal. I guess they have different plan for different areas in canada. The best i find here was 25$/m i get unlimited text and MMS, Top 5, voice mail, call display, and unlimited access to blackbrry emails as well as the instant message(Msn, yahoo, BB messenger) but no surfing on the web. + another 25$ for my voice plan

Dude, that's like saying .. "The box isn't empty, it's got nothing in it" . And, its worth quite a lot more if you plan on subscribing to Blackberries data plan to use it's full potential.

Blackberry isn't primarily marketed to consumer users, they target business men/women who prefer physical keyboards since its a lot quicker to do emails and such on one. And you can type without looking. iphones and touch screen devices are for consumer ppl or those who want multimedia features.

I don't understand people saying the BB 8900 can't SMS...I just bought my son one and I have an iPhone; two different plans, and he has unlimited texting through T-Mobile and we text all the time. BTW, just bought the wife the Clique...awful...lol

Well the keyboard's personal perferance i suppose. Check the res. and the screen size on bold and curve again and then calculate the actual screen real estate you get before you make claims. I own both a 8800 and a 8310 and have been using the curve for the last one year, purely because of its size and the keyboard. Its more convenient/manageable. As for 3G, I can live without it. I don't need to browse and recieve calls at the same time, and I haven't seen anyone with 3g sets do that either.

It is granted that the iphone is a media monster but the utility of BBs are entirely different. I don't see how you can even compare the two? As for bold having the better keyboard, i beg to differ. The keyboard on the curve is by far the best on handheld devices out there. It's actually better than the Bold's since the keys are spaced out. The display on the curve is 480x360 as opposed to 480x320 on the bold. how is it bigger in your book?

I really don't understand what the grip about 3G is all about? This device uses 9 streams as opposed to 2 streams of the 8300 series for its data connection. And, it is as close to 3G as you can get. How much internet speed do you guys need on a device with a screen real estate this small? BBs are business tools and not designed as a lifestyle device as the iphone. They do what they were meant to do and youtube isn't on that list of priorities.

i just bought mine and i just noticed that when i press the end call/ cancel butotn the corner of the lcd gets a bit distorted as if someone is putting some force on the LCD. i am guessing this is not supposed to happen? The other buttons do not affect the screen.

Yo i'm bying this phone on friday and i can tell you man none of rogers price are fair. Now i'm getting a 3 years contract but i have to pay 224.99$ plus a 35$ some kind of activation fees. But that's just for the phone it doesn't include any plan. Now they are advertizing this new data plan for 45$ that gives about 500mb i think not good right... The best plan you could get for this for is 25 $/months for a message plan that includes everything except data plan to go surf,

I have a question about the mp3 player on this device and on the bold, with my old pearl whenever a song would end i would have to click next track for it to play the next song. With this and the bold does it automatically play the next track? If anyone knows if they can answer that'd be great

Checked it out and don't like it. It's too small on the hand and also, the keys are way too small too. I prefer my 8320 over all. Wish this had an easier key board to work with. In the dark this thing is nightmare.
