Do you know that Ikenga was Osita Osadebe’s boy before he ran away with song from his master Osankwa. The cornet/ trumpet in this song sounds exactly like that of Osadebe.

This song was released around 1976-77. This song was the first song by Ikenga, which he stole from his master Osita Osadebe.

J'aime bcp cette musique. Elle me rappelle la belle époque que j'ai vécue a Yabone dans la région de la Casamence. Elle me fait penser à mes amies et amis d'enfance, elle me plonge dans le passé inoubliable. Quand j'écoute cette musique je pleure pour ceux et celles qui sont partis .Que la terre leur soit légère et leur réponse en paix.ce n'est qu'une séparation temporaire.
