Very nice project, the gnome is very cute. Never thought about buying the wood from the Dolar store. Thanks for that tip. I like the xTool, but out of my price range. Other than price, my only real issue against the xTool is the commericals we get inundated before every woodworking video on KZbin. LOL.

Roger, great video and I'll be sure use this soon for our 16 grandkids. They already have wood lathe turned Gnomes I made them for Christmas a year ago. This will be a nice addition. I'm wondering on getting the exact shape. Did you take a picture of the 'shamrock' shape and trace it? How did you get the exact size figured out?

The shamrock is from a public domain picture I found. I then traced it and resized to fit.
