I like the theory of strat videos but just saying “be the number one guild in world and ignore mechanics” isn’t very helpful to us plebs. I can listen to sweaty nerds talk about classic all day anyways tho so thanks for the vid dude!

I kind agree, having a top guild explain to us how they do fights is kinda useless. They have 100 world buffs including Rend, half the raid is warriors, have 40 engineers and kill bosses in 20sec before any mechanics even come into play.

The fights they powered through tend to be 'ignore mechanics' fights for a lot of guilds unfortunately, not just hardcores. Skeram, fankriss and the bug trio for example are super easy fights in particular, even a lot of non hardcore guilds will just straight up crush those fights by dpsing through the entire thing.

Classic Roguecraft hey man thanks for checking in, I went in with my guild B team and only 32 people and we managed to get everything up to huhuran. She took us 4 attempt due to being short on dps and NR but we prepotted and synced up cooldowns for the berserk and got her down. Even tho we aren’t the best pulling that off felt really good and just wanted to share our experience having gone in and killed 5 bosses after our A team did a 9/9. Anyways my rogue just hit 38 last night so I’ll keep watching your vids and trying to learn about the class. Thanks for the videos mate!

The main tip and trick that was given were to get world buffs. I was hoping when warcraft logs put the feature in to parse without world buffs that these "top" players would actually prove there worth of being considered top in their class. Sadly they have not which makes me think that they probably would not know what to do without there world buffs.

The whole UI setup in general, if you would share your WTF + Addons folder that would be much appriciated :) I don't use elVUI right now but using your configuration seems better than the one I use now personally. Would just be nice to copy the config and not having to configure 10+ addons individually to make it look the same :)

Why do they say dagger rogues should swap to swords/fist on some trash.. dagger rogues are specced in daggers and get a lot of good boosts from talents, isn't just using SS with daggers better? Is SS swords/fist with no talents better than SS daggers with experties and talents?

If a specific pack voids your ability to backstab the target then you'd substitute it with sinister strike, and a slower weapon scales better with sinister strike in such instances (e.g knockback bugs crammed into a corner). It's not a hard rule so much as it's about being prepared to change weapons depending on the circumstances.

The only gain you have using daggers for SS is 5% crit. The expertise talent gives fist and sword skill too, and the higher weapon damage by far outweighs the 5% crit.

This actually wasn't very helpful. All these tips basically pre-suppose that your guild is stacked with rank 14s pushing 1k DPS and have sappers. Yeah, it's obviously faceroll for top 1% guilds. Idk if y'all know this in your bubble, but most guilds aren't like this at all....

Far from every tip is directed only to those guilds you mention. It's mainly just rogue specific tips for each encounter, you can apply most of them in any guild. :)
