On Bibliomite: As a mage/warlock player, I sort wish I could have a card like this! Constantly worrying about hand-size is so bothersome. Sometimes, you have to play a card that's useless in your situation just to make room to draw a new one! (I call this venting, because it's like your hand is overheating and you need to let out some air.) I think in Demon Hunter it's a very interesting card. They generally have massive draw as well, so I can see it fitting there in control-type decks as a vent, as well as aggro.

If I know anything about playing Brainstorm being able to put cards into your deck from your hand and then shuffling your deck is a powerful effect.

How about playing malchezars imp first and just drawing them all again but they cost 1 mana :)

The powerful part of Brainstorm is the "drawing three cards and choosing the best one at instant speed for 1 mana" thing, not the "shuffle cards back into your deck" thing. Hearthstone also values hand-fixing a lot lower in general due to the different mana system, we essentially draw two cards with one of them being guaranteed to be a land... but again this isn't hand-fixing, it's just choosing which card to discard.

@@TheSquareOnes yeah sure, but there are cards you'd like to have In your deck and not your hand like I should have compared it to Lat Nam's legacy but my point as I said earlier is that there are times where cards are more valuable in your deck than in your hand

a dev said that you can see 3 cards in your opponents hand, and you choose one of them to shuffle

@@fartface8918 we have UI for the whole hand though on mobile, they could use this ui for card effects too. For example why have bibliomite discover from 3, when we already have UI for putting cards in deck, tradeable, it could be easily adapted for bibliomited hero power. They can do effects like this if they wanted to

@@Emperorhirohito19272 Yes, but that would require more work than just repurposing the same discover UI for every single new effect they ever add to the game that requires you to make a decision. These people are going all in on power creep and overpriced cosmetics to get as much money as possible before the game dies, they're not going to spend employee hours putting together a second UI effect just for the sake of increasing player agency.

About the Suspicious Alchemist, if your opponent plays it, do you get the exact same 3 cards in your discovery option as they did or can they just be 2 random other cards?

Suspicious Cultist or whatever priest minion sees play in wild, same with annoying idol or whatever it's called. I'm aware they have taunt but remember that they are really annoying to deal with like if you have a big rush thing to value trade, you might not get that value trade. You can also think of this as a smaller Sylvannas, since she didn't have taint either but her presence on board couldn't be ignored, I'm just saying there's precedent for the 6/5 beast to be a sleeper.

The taunt on the cultist was really the selling point, it's really only played in resurrect priest because resummoning walls of taunts over and over that each trade for an entire board is a good way to run your opponent out of resources (and even then I haven't seen it in a while, seems like it's been phased out to make room for newer cards like Blood of G'huun). For Sylvanas, it's really important to note that she was only widely played in an era when control decks could just make 2-for-1 trades over and over until their opponent had to concede. That's largely no longer possible in a world where every class has access to hero powers that can solo the opponent and where late-game tempo swings tend to be lethal unless immediately answered, spending 6-mana on a 5/5 that might maybe get a little extra value later just isn't what it used to. You can still occasionally see her in things like off-meta hunter decks that abuse play dead effects but the fact that even that's an extreme rarity should tell you something about how this sort of effect is valued now. Obviously none of that means the new Sinrunner can't see play, especially since it's so easy for hunters to cheat out beasts these days. You just shouldn't be surprised when it fails to find a home anywhere. Rotnest Drake would be the closest comparison as another 6/5 with nothing but the deadly shot effect, but it did it as a battlecry and still barely managed to find any success. We're two years of power creep later and looking at roughly the same card but with a deathrattle that can be played around more easily.
