Fastforward two years later. The Titan bike is $70 more expensive and now the same price as the Assault airbike at $699 and the Rogue has bumped up another $50 to be $845. I`m sold on the no maintenance, more stable yet quieter bike.

After owning both the Vulcan thrasher and the Rogue echo bike I've come to the conclusion that I just don't like fan bikes. The Rogue echo is a well-built bike and is probably the quickest way to get the heart pumping and empty the gas tank; and the monitor is probably the best out of the ones I've tried. But it's not enjoyable (not that anything nicknamed "The Devil's Tricycle" is really meant to be enjoyable, but I end up doing more cardio if I'm enjoying it or at least able to zone out or distract myself - which you can't do on a fan bike) Sold them both and now I have a Concept2 BikeErg which I absolutely love, even though it technically has a fan. The engagement of the arms is overrated, don't feel like I'm missing out there. Cranking the damper up to 10 and the bikeerg is tougher than the echo bike, but lower it to 1-3 and it's a fantastic LISS endurance machine - and as far as monitors go you can't really beat the PM5 when it comes to metrics and functionality. Very different product and use case, but for a home gym I prefer to have the versatility it provides.

How about a comparison of drop pads/ crash cushions from rogue, Titan, Yes4all, BoS, ect. I saw you did a video some time back about PP and Titan but it seems since then more companies have released their versions of pads. It'd be nice to see if the cheapest (Yes4all) can hold up well or if it's worth spending more for Rogue/ BoS.
