He was most likely using the Pcsx2 emulator, hitting tab speeds up the game.

Shift + Tab, iirc, slows down the game as well, so if you hit that key combo and were wondering why it slowed down, t'would be why.

Nope, just need to find the blueprint kinda hard cause you need to walk around for it, farming mats also hard.

You can. But not all of them, there's an evolved version of desert seeker that's kinda blue and orange color. I dont remember pretty well. You can fuse them but not with any weapon, must be specific ones
