@@bradquackson but you dont have to manually do it, if you just sidechain your voice with a compressor :) If youre unsure how to do it, heres how (in most DAWs): you put a compressor on the game audio track, then select sidechain and use your voice track as the input, then tune down the threshhold until you reach a satisfying level of sidechain. That way the volume of the game sound track automatically "ducks" when your voice kicks in and then goes back to full when theres no voiceover. Super easy and quick way to do it.

A guide for under 25 GS rogue would be cool since there are so many new players like myself, that even if they bought the game (like myself), they are not doing anything above 24 GS since I do not have the gear for it. I did this once and I fought full epic players...kinda dumb on the dev's side, but I digress. Not sure if the hide build (landmine) works...there are also different types of daggers and I'm not sure which one is best.

Weapons in DaD is mostly subjective but you will see a lot of players go for Rondel and Stiletto for it's Armor Pen and stabbing attack combos. Most weapons that use horizontal swings tend to do badly vs players in tight corridors and doorways.

@@demolishweaklings Grey daggers do 12 damage and stack twice, grey drums do 24 damage and stack once. Daggers are a bit easier to hit (imo) and benefit from dagger mastery, but drums are bigger burst. They're both pretty good and combined with molotovs (oil lanterns, etc) they give you a bunch of options for playing at mid-range since the crossbow takes a while to reload. The daggers are all pretty similar in DPS so you can honestly use whatever, although stiletto is pretty popular because the attack pattern is all stabs so you're less likely to get somatic'd on a wall or doorframe. I personally use the castillon dagger a lot because you get get a purple one for 50-60 bucks on the trading post.

@@demolishweaklings drums don’t sell out in the shop. If your f2p or budget running u get a stack of knives off woodsman plus squire and a few drums. Drums are reusable as well.

You dont need to have rondel out for pve. Pve has -22% pdr, so any piercing damage has no extra effect. Just use a stilleto so you can gain back the movespeed that rondel takes, and equip it before pvp.

it just depends how u play it its more of a widdle them down with rupture/pois then go in for the kill if u miss and they dont yeah ur gonna die and a ranger is probably one of ur worst matchups for mosquito aside from wizard/warlock ive played it quite a bit its not my favorite rogue build but def has its uses and is its own playstyle and when u play it alot u know how to play certain matchups i will say its definitley a solo playstyle thats where it shines otherwise u have a frontliner if ur going trios and u focus hitting them with rupture and throwing knives and at that point u may aswell just play ranger because in trios most groups will have a cleric druid warlock for heals/sustain or they go 2 fighters with second wind whereas landmine is basicaly just free kills if u dont go up against a barb that 2 hits u or longsword fighter/cleric etc

Generally speaking they became less meta because they nerfed the amount of true damage you can build and it's a lot easier to build Magic Damge Reduction now

You get armor penetration and other stats shared between them so you kind of trading your movespeed for that

landmine build is the most fun i've had but the biggest flaw abt it is that killing clerics and warlocks, like you said, are fucking unkillable. you can pop out of ambush and continuesly stab them in the head and they'll still be tanky enought to 2 shot you if they want.

You get 20% armor pen while dual wielding, with the weak point ability you get 40% armor pen and while running the thrust perk you get 20% as well, it adds up to 80% armor penetration and that’s insane in our current pdr meta
