Game #1 - Can a terran player weigh in, what does it FEEL like, what Byun went through for the last 10 minutes of that game. Or the last 5 minutes. Seems like it would feel hopeless. Like drowning. First thought I have is whether there's any fun in it for them in a game like that. Then I think, this is there job, there might not be any fun left in any of it. THEN I think, in that case, maybe it doesn't feel like drowning at all. Maybe it doesn't feel like anything; it's just another day at the office. You win some, you lose some. I wonder.

This is Maru’s big chance. With the GOAT on military service, he can finally win Katowice. It will be a title with an asterisk, but it’s better than having zero world championships.

He did have a shot when Serral went out early at Katowice 2023 and dodged him, sadly he ended up facing Oliveira and his massive plot armor lol

@@thesoundofsilence77 2023 was a major choke by Maru. I think that’s one of the biggest differences between Maru and the GOAT. Can you picture Serral losing 1-4 in a major finals to such a low ranked player?

Maru has just won his 7th GSL, I dont think it matters he hasnt won Katowice.

@@TheSuperappelflap This is such a broken narrative. Are you Tastosis' burner account by any chance? Look, I get it, there are many GSL fanboys out there, and that is fine an all. GSL WAS the pinnacle of regular competitive e-sports leagues - might be that even still. BUT - and this is a big BUT (hence the capitalization)! You cannot throne anybody as the GOAT based on the REGIONAL GSLs, when the true Goat has won the most championships (opposed to an REGIONAL league), has the most impressive overall record (like winning around half of the PREMIUM tournaments he enters), is considered the Goat by basically all his peers (well, perhaps excluding a joking Dark), and have a SUPREME winning record against any other GSLers/GOAT contenders out there (looking at Maru and Rogue specifically). This is oughta be such a non-discussion, really.

In summary: Maru is great, Rogue is great and Serral is great. Maru is the GSL GOAT, Rogue is BACK, and Serral is the true GOAT.
