This film really moved me the first time I saw it and I wondered why the British Commandos of the time hadn't tried to pot Hitler too in this way. He must have been too well guarded. Shame it's not the whole thing here.but thank you for sharing this tasty bite.

The BBC did a radio dramatisation [15 x 30 minute programmes] with Michael Jayston as the lead. It is fantastic.

i was listening to the band rogue male and i stumbled into this movie, which i had been looking for like crazy because i didn´t know the name nor the actors!!! i saw it on tv when i was little around 1980, and i do remember the scene where they pulled the guy´s fingernails and when he digs a hole in the ground to hide and he makes an arrow from a stick to kill the nazi...thank you for uploading this, i will look for the whole movie now that i know the name...

I heard this story for the first time on radio four extra and i was entranced and so pleased as i nearly missed it turned off by the title. im trying to get the book but hindered by not hving tne authors name this is all my searchs have come up, can anyone help with details? i would be forever grateful, samanddizz

I watched the whole of this excellent film on here just before christmas when somebody had it up; now removed. The DVD copies seem to be of poor quality. So, prsurr1066, it would be great if you you could put the whole movie on here if you have it. Otherwise, anyone else got it? Cheers anyway for putting this teaser up.
