I could be mistaken, but if this is based off the prop from the movie, then it's possible they used a airsoft M-16/M-4 body for the prop weapon.
@quietmouse22868 жыл бұрын
Christolclear101 I think you're right. I took a pretty good look at the actual prop. It looks like an airsoft rifle was used as the base for it. If that is the case, an 'accurate' replica would be pretty cheap to build. Hypothetically, anyway.

Chris, Always enjoy your videos, brother. Loved the email and thanks for sharing your message! I had no idea you gave up your job. As a grown man with similar interests and hobbies you have, I'm ridiculously envious you took that leap. Hey Chris! cody lefler what do you mean there's no effort? Every blaster from Star Wars is a modified real weapon. Most are from World War II but still, being an upper and lower from an AR 15 isn't lazy. It's sticking true to how Star Wars blasters have been made all these years.

Hey Chris, I honestly hope you get a chance to read this. Why is it, with the Custom Collectibles for figures, for the most part, you strip them down and get very detailed with the painting, where stuff like this, and the other star wars blaster, you just throw the primer on, and then detail it. Please don't get me wrong it came out great. But since you didn't cut up the front like the other, and it is not permanently attached to the base. Why not make a functional prop? Yes this will still work, but pulling the priming handle and you see a huge chunk of orange. Plus depending on the amount of clear coat the priming handle and or trigger could be stuck now. I'm just trying to understand the thought process, if it is a time thing? Is it a too many moving parts thing to strip down?
