You can’t have a temper out there cause almost everyone knows everyone!! It’s not idiots running boats, these are seasoned professionals mostly. It’s just so tight in there you can’t control theses mean ass fish. 200’ of line horizontally in a matter of seconds

A JOKE of a fishery. I fished Gold Beach for many, many years. You'll be hard pressed to find a more compact fishery. Incredibly stressful! The guides and a few locals can do well; y'all did very well by Rogue standards.

@@FishingTheOdds the Rogue fall chinook fishery was/is only 2nd to the Columbia in numbers of returning fish. It's a huge run. But Gold Beach is so incredibly stressful and busy. I would only go again with a guide. But y'all did great!

Definitely not true. The flossers do incredibly well at Rainy falls, Robertson bridge, Finley Bend, ect.
