Thanks Mr S Just like piney run one ov very few maps that brings more diverse factories with new things rather than the same old same old follow me copy and paste script exe . With new ideas to vier off from the norm the train outer line I think is good it uses the border ov the map great the cut edge wall is to make it feel more 3d kind of and the scenery to the left gives it depths makes it feel as if it's in the mountains best as.the forest roads are different so it feels good than flat . think map has used the map size and the train really well . possibly to much forestry but the use of the train is better as to the carriages usefulness . getting closer to a mining map and hopefully maps to dig into or down .and that what I've always say d will bring us really something to the game new machines items and raods .we basically have near factories and items to get or make on this map alone .so definitely getting closer to what alot of players have been looking and wanted for years we might get soon. Who knows with productions the possibility to use items made and use wood pre fab to construct farms and paint. Each part to a point once made click ok one part goes up eg wall etc. Maybe way to far but would be good for the modders to bring fix up the derelict farms again all though. Was a click and it was fixed but still it was there years ago.but with things jumped forward to now it it possible for any of what I've said above. Good to see a modder not following the same as all the rest do bad point .I'm not keen on the layout of some points or the style feels like some things are plonked on the map then there parts worked in or around and flat . But good on them for bringing this map to us good job. Ps it's very hard to please everyone with everything. 👍🚜

Instead of a products and crops list in the menu, they should have a sell points list then you can see what products a sell point accepts instead of looking for the product then seeing if that specific sell point accepts that product

Don't think it's just you. I tried the forage pickup, Sadie, big loader, small loader, skid steer, hands, mouth, shovel, bucket, and a couple of other things that I'm not proud to admit. 🏴‍☠️🚜

Hickory valley has also changed drastically. 1000 cows, 500 sheep. Planters and seeders also changed.I bought John Deer planter it says I can put 20000liters of seed and liquid fertilizer in and plant at 19mph I can put fertilizer in but I've tried everything but it won't take any seed.Both maps obviously need update

Hickory Valley won't allow me to pick up grass or straw with baler or loading wagon.

I had to load the seed with the global pallet Set the pallet next to seeder and click left stick Haven't tried the regular seed pallets yet

Mr sealy p in regards to liquids and the train I've put 50000 litres of crude oil from a truck tanker in to the train now to get it back out you need to be in the train to load back into a road tanker also beware if you have precision farming installed selling 50,000 litres of crude oil you get minus 5000 pounds dollars or euros

This map is still waiting on an update!! Decided to have a look regardless... 'Stream Pay' is used as part of the gold bar production, however it can't be bought or manufactured as a by-product. Also several parts of the forested areas are quite laggy! In general, nice map, had potential, but requires a lot of reworking. Good effort by the map maker. 👍

There is away to get streampay is to use the admin tools to load your vehicle then just drop it off if that part is broken

The fair grounds are much bigger IRL the arena is a regulation horserace track and the centerof that is where the trucks play and the tractorpulls are done. Then you have the actual fairgrounds. I spent a lot of time wondering around it as a kid. It has to be one of the best firegrounds i have ever been to. lol good vid bud keep them up

Nine months later and the train car shows “Stones not accepted here” when trying to fill with the stones that replaced the streampay in the river by the ramp and rent train point. Stones go into a trailer but not the train car tried Quantum conveyor and three buckets. Paper still shows as having no sell point. Sawmill pallets being different sizes occasionally appear with the pallet stuck in the ground. Nice map otherwise.

To get the crude oil off the train you have to open the covers on the tanks on the train lol select next tool till you get to them and then fill the transfer station

I hope it does update for the console players to be able to use the entire map but pc players will have a better time with the mods we get like easy development controls which we can fill a trailer with items unattainable or placing sell points which allow the sale of or productions which use some items that dont have sell points or uses.

Nice, I don't know if you are going to do a map tour of the updated versions of Hickory Valley, but from what I saw I do not like the updated versions. I like the other 2 versions of Hickory Valley. In my opinion.

Another great video MrSealyP as usual,.. ive done a bit of testing myself with this map and your right, it deffo needs an update... im on xbox and unlike you i was able to get a bucket of the stuff in the river. I took it to the wash plant and it wasnt accepted so i put it in a trailer and it comes up as seperated manure. I then loaded a new game on the map without pumps and hoses activated and the pile in the river acts like it did in your map tour....very strange and i hope things get fixed cos it looks a great mep.. There are a few other bits like you cant actually fill the train at the transfer silo, when you dump coal, iron ore etc you cant then take it back out into train, only into road trailers. Anyway, thanks again for video...Am looking forward to the next one.

WOW , Insane map! very interesting production chains too. Though with the clucky sell points, you thought this sort of thing would be checked by giants, are they not not checking them and seeing if it runs and if so release.

To sell everything install the sell everything sell point the only thing it won't take is separated manure for some reason

It's separated manure erase it with paint and then replace it with stream pay that's what I had to do that's what it was on my map. And nowhere takes it

Like the map it is ok if have to start again. Update is needed some areas you go through like the pay in river and some fields aren't showing tilled otherwise great map I enjoy

Forest area very steep a challenge for equipment to reach maybe a chain with choking collar with line as a mod to help retrieve cut trees thanks

They were there but have since disappeared so I dunno where they went 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I am hopeful that the update brings them back BUT doesn’t require a new start game, it’s a great map but it’s confusing and hard to get going but I think I’m enjoying the challenge, I play on PS4

I like that the map maker put in all the extra products and productions, but the difference between an alright map and a great map is the "lived in" feel. The plopped in buildings, especially the main farm, just feels unappealing. It's almost as if it's a shed demo set up at a dealer. Real farms have piles of junk, plant life, and everyday stuff strewn around. Just my opinion. In the words of Paul Hollywood: "It's style over substance".

It’s not fit for playing on yet ,I tried last night the chickens and the sheep pens need a fix the animals disappeared into the cliff ,I thought they was going to just wander up there but they don’t ,I filled the sheep pen to test and never saw a single lamb

Maps like this absolutely highlight to me how many vastly different ways people enjoy this game. But also I have never seen such a half finished map actually make it to the mod hub. The train is absolutely horrible with those turns. That bit at the back of the map is just horrid. Not being able to sell products. I do not get it, why would the map author obviously put so much effort into making a map for industry and then release it half finished? Nice tour as always.

lol, if you know this modder's work he actually toned things down for this map. The productions actually have a pretty slow output. Like you say, each to their own. I think I need to wait for the update before I seriously start this one.

@@seanobrien7169 This sort of thing is not really my style. I watch most map reviews because you never know if something that does not immediately catch the eye is gonna be worth checking out or not. So unlikely I am too familiar with the modder. I think it is just a bit of a shame that so much has effort has clearly gone into the map but it is released not fully finished and it will turn people off.

One of those maps I would be unwilling to update for fear that Giants would remove all the cool stuff that console players don't usually get. They did this to Tnt modding.

Giants won't make the modder remove this, if Giants didn't allow this it would have never passed in the first place. The reason TNT's stuff got removed was because it was branded. Do you notice how in 22 all of the unrealistic equipment is Lizard branded? That is done so that the real life brands don't get upset about having their equipment incorrectly modeled in the game. When TNT made his maps all of his unrealistic equipment still had the real life branding on it, so Giants had him remove it to keep the real life brands happy.

No it's not the stream pay it's separated manure he messed up it's suppose to be stream pay and you can use anything to pick it up when it's the right stuff . I was pissed when it took me 2 days to erase it an replace it with stream pay. It's stupid dude. Idk also you can't place bushes or fences. Fences you have to raise the ground some to place them because there's water under the ground and it is too close to place it I guess. Bushes won't place they act like it but nothing places

😆 What nonsense. These guys should be writing for Sim City. How far from farming are we going to get? The tyre animation made me laugh out loud. I don't mind productions that use the crops we grow but this is ridiculous. Just too much in one map. Tarmac and gold don't belong in a farming sim. Just my opinion, but even you were stumped, which is rare.

You have been given the option to play the map for free. You don't have to. There are plenty of maps that concentrate on just farming. This is just another side to the game that exists and some people enjoy the change of pace even if it isn't technically farming.

Lots of maps I don't like too, no one really cares. Play what and how you like and leave others alone. At least have some respect for the time and effort some folks put into this game so that others can enjoy themselves.

I won't be playing it, but please, when you are playing and hard work has filled your trucks and silos with this junk, please screenshot your disappointment when you find there is nowhere to sell it because it doesn't belong in a farming sim. I'd like that.
