I think your description is super accurate of this is what you get with a band who 'finally tuned'. Being a fan of this genre of music i have found that these types of bands dont always end up in major venues. And i am picky about sound in a concert. Heavier music is often drowned out by the how loud they push the bass drums and screaming live often causes them to run out of breath faster causing verses to end early or maybe the skip lines. Maybe your expecting thr epic highs or lows on a certain part of a song that they just cant reach live like that one time they got in the studio recording. But recently, My wife and I just saw them live and it was one of the best live shows I've ever experienced in my life. They sounded almost identical to the way they sound on album. The vocals never slipped, the drums were just loud enough to be there but not loud enough to tune out the melodies in the leads. At one point during their set, the sound dropped completely for about 5 or 6 seconds but they never stepped playing. When the sound came back in, it was as if it never happened. They were so tight together as a band and so accurate to their sound on recording that I was just completely blown away. Truly one of the best live concert experiences of my life.

From those brutal screams to insanely high registered clean vocals They have mastered their Sound and no doubt they are leading this Genre.INSANE guitar riffs by Jesse and New member Clint and JT with those amazing screams and Alex drumming is top tier.Erra has mastered themselves and they are super badass.

It's so amazing hearing JT doing more cleans. He dabbled with them on self-titled, but to see him so confident and nailing them is awesome and provides ERRA with - somehow - even more depth. They're still the best in the genre.

I also like how all the strings play the lead melody together for a split second before hitting that second breakdown, it just tickles me right. It may not be noticeable on your first listen, but you'll know it when you hear it

Broooo, I feel like JT is the most underrated harsh vocalist on the scene!!! He compliments Jesse's angelic cleans so well 🤘🏼🤘🏼💥, this is a jam 🔥

It's criminal how good this band is. Also, the new Ghost Atlas album (Jesse's solo project) is stellar. Check it out.

JT can sneak up on you with the cleans. Give the chorus from Snowblood another listen.

2min52 is such a imminence breakdown. Lets be fair! But what a amazing track this is!❤ i do wishes his screams would be easy without lyrics. Like eddie

I wish Jesse's cleans weren't so poorly mixed. Especially in the bridge. They sound nasally, muffled, and just not crisp at all.

That might be the case but also I asked Jesse at a show why his voice sounded why it did and he said he was focusing on a lower register for alot of their new music coming forward
