Hey I’m Josh from Adelaide, South Australia. I'm a proud father of 3 and passionate about heavy music.
I was the bass player for post-hardcore/alternative rock group Capulet from 2004-2012, releasing an album, EP and several demos.
Capulet were signed to Red Bull and the Taperjean Music Group alongside Closure in Moscow and The Mission in Motion.
Highlights of my music career were playing with amazing bands like Anberlin, Emery, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Haste the Day, Awaken I Am, and touring Australia several times.
I wasn’t the most technical bass player, but lived for performing on stage. I have always loved the process of song writing and the visual art that accompanies music.

That's why they got nico; the previous singer's vocals suck balls live. He's now in a band called ghostkid & i went to see it at a festival last summer and just left after a song and a half. So bad.

Seen them twice live now: once in open air, once in a stadion… it’s insane… last year at Alcatraz in BE a cloud of dust appeared after 5 seconds… starting with Pump it… craaazy!!

Saw them live in Hannover last year, this song is pure escalation in the moshpit. You dont know up and down, you just scream DÖP DÖDÖDÖP and jump around topless, in a huge crowd of likewise (un)dressed sweaty people. Its insane and I loved every second of it.

It's funny how HUGE they are now! I remember seeing them as Eskimo Callboy here in Germany in a small local club when they were still pretty small, like 10-15 years ago. They asked me for a lighter and I didn't even realize they belong to the band as I wasn't really interested in them back then, now I love them. Didn't realize back then I was talking to LEGENDS. :D

I love the band so much as well … I am looking forward to the next Escalation Festival by Electric Callboy in Oberhausen on Feb 1st, 2025 … Already went to their concerts in Berlin and Dresden this year … They are unique in style and vocals !

went to the consert in Stockholm Sweden, was just a crowd of 800, but is was a smaller place. It was so amazing and so much fun but very hot 🥵 The energy of that everyone loved the band was a great feeling! They have a great connection with the crowd!

I know this was 8 months ago but if you check them out now Nico goes off on this song. He adds high bits in and harmonies. Also Kevin sings more on this song now too. This was great but now they are even better.

Aww thought this might of been a late 2022 clip. Maybe it is. You should also check out their POV concert footage. I swear it’s the way of the future for concerts. So amazing. And the sound quality and video quality for us plebs on KZbin to watch for free is fucking unreal. I would of paid money to watch their POV recorded songs

The whole band is having so much fun and this must be an amazing feeling when the audience is just as energetic and positive everyone is getting in on the fun and the excitement I just love how everything is executed great and the feeling of that rave the audience is blinding and they are killin' it I am finally getting to see them live in October and I cannot wait to be a part of this its the one show I looking forward to more than anyone this year and I have seen some belters this year Beast in Black and Steel Panther bring a similar audience energy and participation it makes the night more memorable and more bands need to be this way

This is my son's(5y) favorite band too! Last summer we went to Qstock only to see electric callboy! After the show they take my son to the stage with them for a picture! That was amazing!

How good his vocals are? He's singing with a vocal track, dubbed twice by the sound of it. And the band is playing to an audio track too. That means they can't play live.
