If the girls don't want to that's fine, but I want Banana Culture to do everything they can to get the girls to sign new contracts, and create the right environment for them to keep making music. Don't sleep on them, don't let them drift away. The 7 year curse may be a bit of a myth, but with just 1 year left on the contract the threat of disbandment is somewhat real. I feel like EXID have reinvented themselves in Eclipse and Full Moon, and I believe they have more to offer us Leggos and KPOP in general. I think they have a unique sound and standing in KPOP, and it would be a loss to KPOP if they disbanded. Whatever happens though, thank you for the music. I'll be a Leggo for life. Thank you Leggos for being you. I genuinely think you are the best fandom. Sorry if this was a little down beat, the video got me all kinds of emotional. Anyways love you Leggos, love you EXID!

Their contract runs out in about a years time, they said so in a reality show they did called re:play. Obviously they can sign a new contract, but these things are always touch and go in the kpop world. Many groups lose members or disband altogether when contracts run out. Let's hope this doesn't happen to EXID.

Thank you for existing EXID❤. Ive been in a dark place for 2 years. And as sad as it sounds, the only thing that made me happy in those sad days, was watching EXID. Their story of how they achieved their dreams by patiently waiting, is what currently keeps me going. Kara Deniz, EXID brought me out of a dark place too. The first time I heard "Are you Hungry" the "little girl voice" Hyerin used sounded just like my little niece...who had recently died in a fire. I stopped listening to their music for 6 months, but I watched their comedy videos, and other stuff, and their sweet silliness helped me recover from the depression. All we can do is take life one day at a time. Change takes time. If you have a dream, a passion, don't be discouraged, don't give up. There will be disappointments. That's life. Just keep trying, and remember the only person who's opinion really matters is the person looking back at you from the mirror. Make THAT person happy.

Thank you, Kara. I hope all is well in your world. As a soldier, from a family of soldiers, my brothers and I had developed some unrealistic expectations. We feel like we are making a deal with the Fates, or whoever is in charge. Us military men are supposed to do the dying, so our families can be safe. That's the deal. When life happens, like my niece and sister-in-law dying in that fire, I feel like somebody broke the deal. That was supposed to be me, not them. It took me a long time to recover. But EXID helped. Especially Hyerin. Sorry, I didn't mean to expose you to my sorry life. I hope you are well.

Patrick Kenyon it honestly warms my heart to know that there still are men that think the way u do. U are like a hero. While u are a soldier by saving lifes by even dying for those in need, and feel like u didnt suceed in your job when someone else dies. I feel like a nurse trying to take care of my mother that will keep having a possibility to die. And if she would die. Id feel like i didnt succeed in taking care of her. This year we found out that my mom has cancer. And thats the main reason why im in a dark place. And it honestly feels terrible knowing that u cant actually do anything to get out of that dark place, and all u can do is wait. Sorry if its like too long, but i felt like telling those.

Thank you for this video. I got into Kpop not that long ago so I still have so much to hear. The first song heard from EXID was UP & DOWN and I really like it. I hadn’t heard any other song from them but when DDD came out I also really liked it. There are so many vids that i saw from them and it looks like that they are really amazing. They are themselves and that is what i like from them. I have missed so much but i am proud to finally become a LEGGO. That last segment...I cried! They're now into year 6 and Solji has returned. I really hope Banana Culture retains them - as EXID still has so much love and life left in them. I look forward to them keeping on going for many years as a group and as individuals in their own right. As an older aged LEGGO (i'm in my 40's), I look at them and are inspired to see them moving forward. It helps keep me strong.

i gotta confess i was a kpop fan that overlooked EXID. i knew they existed because of Hani, but i never went farther since Hani wasn't my type. but then someone recently posted about Hani's fancam finally getting over 30 million views and that's when i learned the history behind EXID and saw how talented they all were. i went down the EXID rabbit hole and now they're one of my all time faves. better late than never i guess.

I don't think the awards themselves have cash prices, but I think artists were paid with an certain amount to perform at the awards ceremony

The weekly shows, there's no monetary prize as far as I know, but groups do make a small amount of money for performing each time. And of course ranking in the top on the various shows does help to boost album sales.
