Unfortunately, the media has made us believe that Muslims hate Christians, but if you read the Quran you'll see that it's not true, That Muslims are told to respect what others believes and not fight those who they are at peace with. (There is no compulsion in religion) (Surat Al Baqara) ,meaning, "Do not force anyone to become Muslim" AND "Allah does not forbid you respecting those who have not made war against you on account of (your) religion, and have not driven you forth from your homes, that you show them kindness and deal with them justly; surely Allah loves the doers of justice" (Surat Al mumtahana). Recently, i've noticed that many people pick verses from the Quran out of context and claim that Islam hates non-muslims and encourages murdering them in the name of god , but it's not true. They also claim that Muslims are ordered by "Allah" to fight the infidels, but here is another verse of the Quran "Fight for the sake of Allah those that fight against you but do not attack them first. Allah does not love aggressors." You Can obviously understand from this verse that the Islamic faith does not condone killing innocents. What i'm trying to Say is please stop hating Muslims because of what you see on the Media, stop judging them as terrorists and considering them as a threat. Those who commit atrocities in the name of "Allah" are not even considered Muslims by the rest of the Islamic World (and they only make up less than 1% of the Muslims population) . There are extremists group in every religion, if you're a christian then you certainly Know what atrocities your ancestors commited in the name of Chirst. And yet, we all Know that Beloved Jesus would have certainly not accepted any of that. There are also extremist groups like the Hindusva (idk if i spelled it right) that ruin the image Hinduism. Simply put, THERE IS EXTREMISM IN EVERY RELIGON! And we shouldn't judge those religions because of their heinous extremist groups. Think about it, if Islam allows the murder of innocents in the name of Allah, then how Comes WE ARE still Alive considering that billions of people are Muslims? How Comes they haven't killed us all in the name of their God already? And how Comes Muslims and Non-muslims (especially jews and Christians) still co-exist in many "islamic" countries (palestinian territories, turkey, morocco, algeria...). Besides, if Muslims truly don't tolerate others then how on round earth did we get to see this video? So please stop this New wave of Islamophobia which is Anti-semitism but only in a different color, and instead please spread love. Thank you. (P.S: i have only written this because i've noticed a lot of hate comments in the comment section)
