We can divide the teams into three categories 1) Eng, Ind, Aus, SA, NZ, Pak 2) SL, Ban 3) Afg, Ned Assuming all top six teams will win at least 3 matches against the four teams in category 2 and 3 it'll boil down to how many of the five matches each of the top teams can win against each other. So any of the top six can beat each other, each team should target to win at least three from five matches. So the teams have to win handsomely when they have a chance, as it could come down to run rate.
