During the BBD sale last year i bought myself a pair of kz edx pro cuz i found them for like INR 800 and man do i love them ❤. Also bought the king sound dac because that seems to be the only one available apart from apples dac. Anyway, great video I'm looking forward to more such videos

How would these compare to the Moondrop Chu 2? I'm still a newbie to the audiophile community and on the lookout for a beginner's IEM. I listen to all genres, but have a preference for thumping bass sounds and clean acoustic instrumentals.

Chu IIs are definitely bass heavier than the ZEX, but their sub bass is better than the ZEX.

Ofcourse it creates difference in both scenarios. You're getting better drivers that produce a lot of details after all.

These stock cables reduce the comfort after a few days of use. It gets stiffer day by day and retains the bent shape. Earlier KZ used a different type of cable which was way better imo.

Hi Sir.. I jst got my ifi Go dac and this KZ Zex iem from Headphonezone 2 days ago. Can you share the eq of KZ Zex in Wavelet to make it little better sounding as I found this iem little V shaped tuning by default.

Your Sony earbuds have a lot of thump in the bass and kind of muddy vocals. Any one of the two IEMs you mentioned will easily blow it away in terms of sound quality.

In TWS ₹5000 Oppo Enco Air 3 pro is the sweet spot. More than enough In IEMs you can try Moo drop Chu II , 7Hz Salnotes Zero etc... under ₹2000

I wouldn't say it's a bad choice. Moondrop Chu is definitely better in terms of a flatter response, and build. Haven't used the Salnotes.

Seriously.... Kz ZEX one of the shaprpest highs i have heard on IEMs. They are just too much treble which could not be adjusted. This is because of electrostatic driver and the tuning. Its not for indian music. Better go with Tangzu w'aner or qkz hbb or 7hz zero.

Try listening to the Moondrop Chu 2, and maybe your opinion might change. The ZEX if properly burned in, doesn't sound sibilant at all

wanner is too uncomfortable and the build quality is too fragile. I just got them today and the build is not that good.

​@@rohitagni zex is borderline sibilant and harsh that will make your ear bleed. You can't enjoy any genre of music with these, not even eq can save this iem; trust me i have tried and nobody in 2024 should buy kz zex instead GET WANER, CADENZA, Q1 PRO, TIN C3, ZERO 2, QUARKS DSP, LAN, EW200, SONUS.....etc . You need to get your ears checked. PS.- OG Chu with spring tips are sibilant at 16k(but listenable at low volume) with some tracks but can be avoided with different tips. Haven't tried chu 2

@@yashsingh864 DACs have a major effect on these IEMs as well. Those which brighten the treble can make the ZEX seem "sibilant". As far as getting my ears checked, I think I'm good, but the ZEX will definitely not make anyone's ears bleed.

Apple dongle is enough for basic needs. Don't know man maybe their garbage qc changed the tuning or something. But after dq6 and zex pro issue i haven't and won't buy kz or cca iems ever.

Haven't used any of the Final Audio products, so can't comment on that. But these IEMs usually last a long time since they don't have any batteries and all.

@@rohitagni my concern with wired in ears is only about the quality (had 2 samsung ones whose wire broke off even with minimal usage) and problems like L-R distortion (which happened to my cheap pair of zebronics earphones). so these iems may be prone to these right ?

Please don't compare IEMs to cheaper headsets. IEMs have detachable cables which you can replace if something causes an issue.
