My husband is a biker and he has gone to all the places. Chandratal is really really beautiful and it's more beautiful in the night. My husband and his friend had gone there and had camped there. The picture of chandratal in the night is so awesome. You guys should have done that.

Hey! The fossil samples kept on the book shelf were mostly extinct Ammonites (a group of marine invertebrates). They lived in the sea for around 200 million years back in time in the Jurassic period. The village Langza and its surroundings once were submerged under the Tethys sea which eventually got disappeared when two continental tectonic plates collided and the Mighty Himalayas formed in and around 50 million years back from this date. Even though the sea subsided the fossils remained as a testimony of the marine realm. Can you imagine these Ammonites fossils are practically at least a hundred million years older than the Himalayas you are seeing today!! This is insane, ain't it? It would have been great if someone was there to describe it to y'all. The traveling experience gets drastically elevated with these little yet insightful trivia. Anyways loved your vlog. Much love

We were told to avoid Spiti in the monsoons and winter because of the high risk factors. So summer would be the best. But then there’s a lot of crowd. May-June would be the ideal. We travelled during June. 😊
