Woh gayika bhi achchhi hai.Lekin range (highpitch) me kam hone ki wajahse woh Madan ji, Salil Da ya Jaydev ji jaise Sangeetkaron ke muskil gane shayad hi ga pati. Suman ji ke awaj me komal geet (sugam bhavgeet)hi achchhe lagate hai. Marathi me aise bahut hi sunder bhavgeet unhone (Suman ji ne ) gaye hai.

Suman ji was very good but not as good as Lata ji. The difference is very clear in songs where both singers sang different versions of the same song. Go listen and the difference will become obvious to you. Suman ji is still beyond excellent, but Lata ji is better. That's why many music directors saved their best compositions for Lata ji.

Lekin specialy 1949 to 1969 jaroor suniye aur gaur se suniye.
