Fish is one of the favorite sea foods at every homes. It is simple, delicious & flavourful dish cooked in onion tomato base gravy. Rohu fish contains many health benefits and one important benefit to know is it contains omega 3 fatty acids which are very essential for all of us. Rohu is also known as ‘Rui’ or ‘Roho’ or ‘Labeo Rohita’. This delicious, spicy and flavourful curry tastes great with steamed rice.
Ingredients
For Marination:
Rohu Fish - 700gm
Salt-1 tsp
Garlic paste- 1 tsp
Cumin powder-1/2 tsp
Turmeric-1/3 tsp
chili powder- 1/2 tsp
oil-1 tsp
For masala:
Yellow mustard-1 tbsp
Black mustard- 1 tbsp
Dry red chili- 4 nos
Garlic 7-9 nos
Red Onion- 1 small
cumin powder-1/2 tbsp
water-1/2
Kashmiri mirch - 1 tsp
salt- 1 tsp
haldi- 1/2 tsp
Tomato-1 large
water -2 cups
Cilantro- handful
For frying
Cooking oil- 3 tbsp
Mustard oil- 2 tbsp
