There is a prevailing and inherent dishonesty in using steroids - your physique, unless you wear a goofy stringer with a syringe emblem 24/7 like Bostin Loyd does. Exception is youtube celery hermits like Blahismo, and the effect is conditionally (perception-based) less so if the dude is disgustingly bloatmaxxed like George Leeman was

I competed natural until the age of 45 and then I made the decision to take my first cycle. Testosterone and anadrol. I already had the USPA national drug tested records in 2017 for the Masters 220 weight class, and I wanted to keep competing, but even if you are just on TRT, you cannot compete tested, so after much deliberation, I decided to do it, and I was amazed at how well I bounced back to my previous competition condition. I am now 47 and I just competed in the untested division and finished with a 1490 total at 220, which is possibly my best meet ever. I will most likely be on TRT for the rest of my life, but I do not think I will ever do a cycle again. It was an amazing experience, but the possible consequences to my health are just not worth it, and I would be more than happy to share anything anyone wants to know about it, both good and bad, because there is a lot of bad. I don't think it is worth it long term.

Just as you said Alex, if you just needed to get on steroids to get Lu Xiajoun's snatch record or Pyrros Dimas 4 medals, then everyone would do so; these people don't just inject themselves and become the best, they work hard and give their life for it, and deserve respect. That being said, a gymnast from my country, Tomas Gonzales really made an impact to our sports system and was a great influence growing up of hard work; being an Olympian he probably used some ped's, but we all saw the hard work and struggle to get to that level

been natty for 15 years. at 37 decided to juice. and you are correct, it did conquer my insecurities, but it also gave me the look i always though was achievable in my mind. you see, once i completed 15 years of natty lifting and almost reached my natty limit, i discovered that the look i was striving for was not archivable naturally. i blame fake natties (in fitness magazines back then)

I'm lifting for almost 10 years and for those who are wondering: it's not worth using shit because you can obtain a great physique natural and also good strength numbers. If nether is on drugs atleast he's he's elite for the lifts he actually cares about sure he got greedy and tried to fake his squat/bench/deadlift but those pullups actually kinda prove he did have elite pullup strength nobody seems to give him credit for that he's just weak cause he can't bench squat deadlift but elite powerlifters can't actually beat his pullups/rack pull so who's weak? Why don't we just stsrt doing rack pull deadlift pullup only meets I bet that would scare most powerlifters real fast

Sports would be so much more enjoyable to me without roids. Roids limit the pool of people that are able to compete to the ones that are willing to take steroids. I feel competition would improve without drugs. The records and performance wouldn’t be the same of course, but the fact that everyone is on a natural playing field would improve competition through volume of participants.
