Great great review as always! Your reviews are getting better and better! I have PDL1 and 3 and 1 is my favorite. How you receive a perfume has to do with your journey and with who or how you are. Quality of ingredients, clone or half clone, price, packaging, is all irrelevant if you like it. No one should condition itself not to like a perfume because objectively the price is high. It’s like saying ‘I will not buy that Picasso because it is overpriced. By the way, Picasso got inspired by the French school. So let’s instead buy something from the original French painting school’. I love what Roja does, really.

I've been watching your stuff for awhile now and you're always good for a chuckle. First time commenting, but just wanted to say how much I enjoy your takes on fragrances. Even if I've never smelled it before, you do a good enough job describing it and using metaphors/allusions that I feel like I know it. Just got my first 3 Areej samples because of you (RO II, CO II and OE IV)...and the only one of tge 3 I get so far is OE.....but I didn't like real oud until 9 months ago. Now I can't get enough. Thanks for the great work and the time you put in. I'll get back to you when RO starts to make sense.

Out of my 31 Rojas, this is in my top 4. The other 3 being Diaghilev, Fetish and Sultanate of Oman. I have a 1992 Eau d’Hermes and I don't see much similarity in smell to PDLN 3, maybe the construction or concept is similar 🤔. Eau d’Hermes is still pretty challenging for me but I do love and appreciate it in small doses.

My favourite of the trio is nr 3. For me, it is quite sweet though? I always thought that this would be too sweet for the Ram 🐏, so that's interesting. Maybe it's something else that gives the impression of being sweet 🤔 like a mix of Sweetie Aoud and Sultanate of Oman. Fantastic video/lesson as always! 👏💪

I was lucky to find this on sale at retail at I think 55% off + tax free, then they threw in an official 7.5ml of Enigma which I sold for what amounted to about another 10% off. At that price, very happy. This is my second favorite Roja (I like his Vetiver the most, and Fetish is a close third) and to me it's the rose that's the star. The cumin is amazing but the rose really pulls it all together for me and I find it quite sweet on my skin, which balances out that really dry base. Have you ever had Turkish Delight, the rose water flavored dessert? That's what this reminds me of although not quite as sweet as that, with middle eastern spices around the area. I've never tried Eau D'Hermes...a bottle will be bought :) I wore PDLN 3 and Russion Oud II watching this.

I got a PDLN3 sample from someone when I bought a bottle from him. My first impression was ‘nice, a tad above meh’. Today I learned I should have put that sample in the treasury vault. OMG ridiculous pricing. Imagine the limited edition with gold flakes! 😉

Enjoyed this one ,probably the best of the 3 for my nose however I think a vintage Eau D’Hermes would probably scratch the itch on this one 😂 I have a modern bottle and enjoy it so yeah definitely a better option imho have a good one buddy 🙏👍✌️

Pdln 3 was my best fragrance ever now not, because of cumin. Thank God I didn’t buy it. No more Roja cause the price is insane. Pdln3 reminds me a lot of Tuscan leather and Tuscan leather intense from Tom ford now I prefer those than pdln3.the structure is better. Nice review.

the more I smell PDLN No. 3, the more I like it. I seem to get a different flavor every time a smell it. sometimes the sweetness, sometimes the soft rose. but definitely getting the sense of skanky cumin armpit. it's fascinating, but prohibitively priced.

I know you don't think very highly of it, but is there any chance you could tear off the Band-Aid so to speak and go over the hype beast that is Elysium? Unless you're saving that for last, of course. I've tried the parfum cologne version, and I'm shocked at how weak it is and how quickly it just seems to go away, unless I'm somehow going anosmic to it immediately.

I felt there was something animalic ontop of the cumin...kinda like how PDLN 1 has that animalic touch... i find it similar here... but thats just my guess 🤷🏻‍♂️

Roja all is meh to me and that’s revisiting them all over a year only enigma/creation e was okay at best. Speaking of $1000 frags Ensar pushes the envelope of that price but why outside of pride?
