I'm hoping he's at least a little viable as a Bison counter even at just A or S with the lv3 Shoryuken. He just literally becomes essential at that point, akin to Bison or, to a lesser extent, BZang. Like it's kind of absurd how effective he is lol. I mean, doesn't this mean he's also a Honda/Abel killer too?

No he isn't a E Honda killer because E Honda gets damage resist and heals during desperation. Evil Ryu ignores shields and damage immunity that doesn't stop damage resist or stops his healing.

@@highgamermentality7802 Honda's Desperation effect is also damage immunity for like 2 or 3sec. So while the resist makes it harder to kill him in spite of that, getting through the damage immune is pretty insane.

@foomp that is correct I was just fighting him in inverse mode and was close to killing and then he had the damage immunity and started healing up so being able to get past that yea.

So going for akuma in my opinion is better he is op and with evil ryu taking away hp buffs akuma since he get a defense boost and damage buff for losing hp. They basically work together and will both be killer for bosses or pvp/pve pvp

I would just save until you have alot of tickets and wait for others to fully test him out to see who is better for all game modes. Then after you have alot of tickets pick one then stick with that one because the ultimate goal is SSS not just S or A plus.
