It's roughly similarly priced with the Xreal Air plus dock combo (formerly Nreal Air). But that one looks like proper shades and have better phone apps. This one however, has 120hz and adjustable lens.

Mine arrived and noticed the Rokid Station doesn't connect to Wi-Fi on a flights. How do you watch movies during a flight? Can you download playback movies?

If you want to use it as a compact Android TV box indoors, a fix screen would be an option. As for the size, better think twice about where and how you want to use. And better get the screen USB-C video signal support (or you would need a usb-c to HDMI adapter). It will save you a lot of work. If you wanna enjoy media content outdoors without phones, then the combo is the best option. But a supported phone can also work well with the glasses since you can install a Rokid app to fit it well. So it also depends on your budget.

Mine finally arrived and here is my review. It runs hot. I have no idea why they also sent a remote just to be able to speak to Google assistant? The video is slightly larger than the glasses allows you to see so the far left edges in the upper and lower corners are not in your direct view and are somewhat blurry. It took 1 month to arrive from China! With all of this I still LOVE it because there is no other device out there that allows you to stream video from an android OS using all of the video apps you have on your phone. Plus it has 32 gigs o space so if you want to rent or buy a digital movie you can download it directly to the device. Now, I dont know how you get the video off or how you put videos you already on....for $149 im happy. However if you can find a cheaper phone that outputs video via a usb c port then you could do that instead but I could not find any for $149 or less

You mean using the laptop's monitor to display the station's content? Most of the laptops' monitors do not support the video-in feature to display external sources.

This? No. Glasses? Yes, if have USB-C display port functionality (USB-C 3.1,3.2, or Thunderbolt ). No adapters needed . If do not have USB-C display port functionality. HDMI male to USB-C 3.1 female adapter to connect the glasses. They are on Amazon and Rokid. The only drawback is that you will need another USB port to power the adapter hub if laptop has no USB-C display port functionality. And this advice is the same for most glasses. If no HDMI port must buy DisplayLink hub to go with the adapter.

I could never get my Rokid Station to do anything.It is a cash grab.It was not made to do anything.What am I supposed to do with the Rokid HUB?I just want to see the screen everyone is talking about.I never saw a screen on the Viture Xreal and now the Rokid.How can I see that screen?

🤦‍♀So it’s a Chromecast with USB-C out and a battery? 🙄LAME!!!! No spatial or AR stuff added because it’s too weak.👎More f@cking junk. 👍You need at least an 8 core processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB Storage, & controllers (unless the Station is the controller somehow) to even get started enjoying AR/XR experience. The glasses do not even have stereoscopic cameras for depth sensing control. 🤬Otherwise software for Mac, PC, Android, and iOS should be required by the manufacturer. Not everybody wants to use Android. Some of us want to use them on PCs and other things. Station is now $199. Way overpriced & underpowered .🤔Its only redeeming factor would be that it can be used on all of the glasses I own.
