I have wanted to play dragon link for quite a while but knew that halqi was an option on the ban list, so i wasnt sure how to build it. now that halqi is safe, this is a great deck profile and i plan on building it sometime in january when i get paid and i dont have to worry about car maintenance

My rokket deck is pure rokket, halq and borreload savage are basically the main thing i go for since i dont have the variety some people do, its not a bad build but it could be a lot better, love the video Cali, keep the good work up.

Fist combo even if you had a second rocket monster you could no go for the spheres because you committed to the tracers effect to as from deck and you would get locked into only ss dark monsters. Second combo is insane great job.

Wait, in combo 1, when are you gonna summon heavenly spheres? You can't really summon him after tracer due to tracer's restrictions.

In DLink it's very common that you open an extender or draw into one. If you open Seyfert or Black Metal plus a Rokket or Extender you easily make Seal + Link 4 + Savage. Depending on what techs you play you can end on a rank 8 like Ding or Harbinger as well.

this Build is so broken and very surprisingly consistent. I've been playing this exact same build +1 magnarokket and have been very satisfied with the endboard consistently ends with apo+VFD with no extenders drawn (Bad Draw) All combos can easily go through handtraps Apo + VFD + Savage = 1 extender apo + VFD + Savage + Seal = 2 extenders apo + VFD + Savage + Unchained abomination = 3 extenders = 80% Win the Die roll = Win the game

Instead of croc you could go into the synchro Trishula and just rip a card then go to vfd? Gaining hand advantage over ur opponent is bit win more if ur opponent can't play anyway

i think that u could not go into spheres after using rokket tracer effect, it locks u on only dark monsters from your extra deck same turn u activate tracer.

Ehhhh, with no buster lock or smoke grenade these boards are fine. Like when you get down to it it’s like on Omni negate and some other disruption that takes up almost as much of their extra deck as old dragon link combos. Deck shouldn’t be underestimated but this is fair tbh minus the VFD stuff

I know drawing 2 cards off of Crocodragon is great, but couldn’t you make the synchro Trishula instead for another hand rip? At that point it’s more of wanting to rip a card or draw 2, which drawing 2 always seems cooler, but having your opponent under calamities with only 3 cards seems really funny

@@cesar1489 Actually every hand is very good if deck built optimally, and my own list plays without a problem through handtraps and I pretty much just run driver as my only brick, obviously handtraps are not extenders, but you have to play them. This list loses to handtraps harder than my list

You can easily transition the deck into a dragon-link variation by using some more dragon goodstuff and using Prologue of the Destruction Swordsman for whats basically skill drain, which whelp can search on normal summon, or alternatively you can use Trap Trick to set it to your field.
