Enjoyed putting the globe together with you... your Dad, and your friend. I ran into some of the same building problems as you did, so the video was very helpful and entertaining. Ended up completing the whole puzzle in one sitting, about 6 hours total. Next up .... the rubber band machine gun. Keep up the good work, and tnanks again!

All sounds good. Thank you. I've got a Winchester rubber band gun on the way in the mail. Will probably do that soon, if not next.

It's at least reassuring that everybody else who's making this is having the same difficulties in the same spot, namely, connecting the foot of the globe to the gear and other rings. I'm going to have to go over your video several times to see if I can figure it out. You are a lot of help, given the poor quality of the instructions and illustrations.

I cut the piece that wouldn’t fit. Basically snipped out the part that was making it difficult. Maybe it’s weaker now, but it works.

i just got this for my 13th birthday and just got a little stuck with the globes frame. Thanks so much for the help!!!!

Glad you like it. It’s one of the better models out there and functional after built, either as a globe, or just a light.

@@Johnrap I have been getting these ROKR gifts for my birthday for the past four years so i also have three other models I just find them so much fun to build 😁 also when you attach the globe to that disc thing (i don't know what its called) i used my screwdriver to poke it into place

Cool, and true. I’ve done a few ROKR models myself, the ROKR 3D Pinball being the most memorable.

i had this shipped internationally and it didn’t come with wax so i couldn’t help but ask whether it’s super necessary or not and if it is, where could i get it from?
@Johnrap4 күн бұрын
Either a tea candle or clear crayon should do, or any wax really.

I really like the video. Did you manage to flip the globe so the gears work?

As I recall I had the gears at least somewhat working.

I cut the pieces of wood that run across the bottom. Basically, cheated.

Sorry. I’m working on editing and learning how to present this better. But I’m still very new at it.

Hi, just started assembling this globe and following your video. I am at stage 1 feeding A12 then A11 then F2 then A12 over the wire, it’s about 51.31 into your video, but then you go onto another part of the assembly and seem to miss a crucial part which is glueing A12 to A11 and F2 to A12. Did you do this further into the video please.
@Johnrap Жыл бұрын
It wouldn't surprise me if I missed a crucial step.

I cant get the sheets to go into their respective slots, been trying for around an hour now and they just feel to short keep poping back out every time I go to put enough in, at this point im considering gluing them down but that defeats the purpose 😅

Been there. If the room you are working in is hot and humid that can cause problems.
@matthewfurnival84109 ай бұрын
@Johnrap managed it in the end, took almost an hour, and I needed more hands than I have, but once they were in place, I quickly pushed them up to the gears to make sure they couldn't come lose again.

My channel is not monetized. No-one is paying me to do this. Must I do a job for no pay and also keep my mouth shut? Am I a slave? Even if I was a slave would I not still be a human being with human rights, including freedom of speech? You can mute the video and play music if you don’t like it. Or, I can send a link to you and you can chat while I assemble. Seriously, you are welcome.
