I could definitely tell you that there was at least one application that works to mirror But I refuse to pay for it. So therefore I found this video. I'm going to watch it and then update. The main thing is is that communication is bad between Android phones and Roku TVs but I've never even tried the laptop yet which has Windows 11. Desktop is kind of old and it's Windows 10 because it doesn't have a chipset to upgrade to Windows 11 allegedly. And I don't want to attempt.

I have several Android Devices and, even though they detected my Roku TV, none would screen mirror. This fix, though not perfect, worked for me - Go to Settings - Wifi - Wifi Preferences - Wifi Direct Clear/Forget any saved devices Don't try to re-connect from the Wifi screen Go out of Wifi and go to Screencast Select the TV - Pairing now takes place and phone/tablet screen is mirrored. Downside is when I want to pair again I have to repeat all of the above - but at least it works!

@@penguino56093 OK sometimes a further step is needed - whole process is- On your Android device oo to Settings - Wifi - Wifi Preferences - Wifi Direct Clear/Forget any saved devices Don't try to re-connect from the Wifi screen Go out of Wifi and go to Screencast It should search and show your TV as available. Select you TV and pairing should take place and phone/tablet screen is mirrored. If your TV is shown (might say not available) and you still cannot connect to your TV repeat the above - and then go to your TV - Settings - System - Power - System Restart - Restart After a short while your TV should be shown as available and you should be able to connect. Downside is when I want to pair again I sometimes have to repeat all of the above - but at least it works!
