This is cool! Can you make arpeggiation sequences within a single scene and not the sequencer? For example, have a bass note with the left hand that just repeats itself and then a synth part with the right hand with a different arpeggiation pattern?

Hi Mark - you can enable the arpeggiator within a scene by using the Zone View as in this video. You can then enable it just for a particular part, and then turn it on and off using the Arpeggio button. Whatever arpeggio pattern you select you can save as part of the scene.

Great video Steve! So good to hear your voice after all these years. Also good to see that you’re still making music with Roland gear! Hope you’re well mate.

Hey Stevie-boy 👍 All good here thanks. I don't think you ever stop making music; you certainly haven't😁 and I see you have got into politics too? That at least means one decent person amidst the current insanity we're all enjoying so much! Keep singing Steve!

Very useful and to the point. I was thinking there was a program error on my synth that I cant use the arpeggiator in sequencer. Thank you.

Glad it helped 👍 There's not much this keyboard can't do but it can be a bit illogical sometimes 😁

Does this have a key/scale funtion to write your song ?

I 'm not sure what you mean. This is not a composer keyboard in the same way some of the Korg ones are.
