This is a long in depth look, step by step of creating your own #user #multisample user #patches in the Roland Fantom G. I made this video for those of you out there like myself that have been wondering how to sample and map out your other #outboard #gear and #VST #instruments into the #FantomG across the #keybed.

Please forgive me for the shaky camera. I made this video 1 handed.
First thing you want to do. choose your menu button. Hit f1 project. Hit F4 create. Then F8 create. Name project MySplDfltF which stands for "my sample default folder". F8 ok. Yes to create project. then continue where the video starts.
I recommend creating a default folder for all of your sampled sounds. From my experience. I don't know if I just haven't fully figured out the Fantom yet or what but I found it tough to load, recall & find all your samples you save & created. I find it is easier to organize your samples & recall ALL of your sample patches that you create and customize. When you create & save a beat using your custom sample patches. Save your project with the "SAVE AS" button under your Menu button to create a new project folder/name to save your new beat. That way you never overwrite your folder with all your samples saved in it.
