I grew up with Warren as my hero. He sang in a group where I lived. He wrote songs for my group which I then sang lead for. Love this man.

The sequencer on the Fantom G6 is mindblowingly easy, intuitive, and very user friendly. Thank God we all are not forced to use software for sequencing because sequencing on the G6 saves so much time. You can just focus on making the music and not worry about if your computer is going to give you issues. It's just way easier.

Jade Pascual well yes and no, it really depends what you want to use it for, ehen it comes to natural sounding piano sounds and acoustic guitar and strings sounds this keyboard is awesome. But, if you are looking for something that has realistic wind instrument sounds like trumpets, saxophones and clarinets for example then the Yamaha Motif XS will shine brighter then the fantom G.

That all depends on the person. Some people swear by the Motif. Others enjoy the Fantom. Each has it's "pros and cons" which makes it a hard question to answer.

I just bought one about three weeks ago and it can be somewhat intimidating. About a month ago (I could be wrong with the date, but oh well), Roland came out with a "Fantom Workshop" PDF that discusses a TON of features in easy to understand format, unlike the UNFRIENDLY FORMAT that Roland call's the "official manual".

Thanks for uploading this video, it helped me to know about this useful function of fantom. I have a question tho. Will there be a way for me to connect my cello and record its sound? I installed pickup/preamp system on my cello so I can connect with regular output jack line... I would appreciate if you could suggest any solution for this.

The Oasys is a completely different world, it cost more and its from Korg, I think both worksations are teriffic! But the G6 is more affordeable than the Oasys:P

I'm not a 'hater' at all. I just hate seeing a G6 abused like this. (Sound-quality wise) -- If you have the cash to buy a G6 and don't spend a few more bucks on a decent microphone and mixer... or if you can't figure out what an optical out is all about -- Well, that is just a shame. Otherwise, yeah, I imagine the music rocks !! But you need a lot of imagination to filter out the noise from this low quality recording !!
