I just bought the JDXI. I am total amateur. I am trying to match the sounds on mine and I cannot. I cant match the Analog Tone. I cant match the JP8 Strings1. I tried matching the effects and settings, but it eludes me on how to match those lush beautiful strings and lead Analog Tone sound. Incredible sounds, beautiful piece. I want to track the parts on my JDXI and play this. But for now, I will settle for listening to this magnificent piece of music.

just slap some delay, reverb, use the filter cutoff to get rid of the harshness, then you add a long attack release or both

You should turn your synthesizer around so people can see what your doing better. Besides that your really good.

Excellent jam! Love it. Just got my JD xi a day ago and can only hope to create something similar. Are you using any effects pedals or did you lay down the tracks in a DAW or is this totally all on the JD xi?

Very cool indeed! So, when you're using the four "parts" of this synth at once like this, is there any way of changing the relative sound levels (volume) between them?
@minisynthmaniac Жыл бұрын
You can control the volume of individual tracks with the AMP/ENV knob
@micaelarvidsson90342 жыл бұрын
Can you have an effect 1 on track 1 and effect 2 on track 2? Or does the effects apply on all tracks?
@kinaost2 жыл бұрын
As I understand it the effects are handled separately on all tracks/channels. Also you can add separate effects on separate keystrokes for the drum section. The bass drum can have one effect and the clap sound another. Pretty cool
@markusleb Жыл бұрын
@@kinaost Not quite. You have 1 distortion FX, 1 modulation FX, 1 delay, and 1 reverb all in series, and these are global. Per voice you can decide if and where in the chain you want to add this voice to the FX chain. All different drum sound slots act as a separate voice, so, yes, all of these drum sounds can have individual settings for where into the global FX chain they are added. The "send" value, though, cannot be decided individually but is associated with the FX itself, so somewhat unfamiliar to someone who is used to normal mixer FX sends.

Distorsiona un poco los agudos al abrir el filtro...en general bien la secuencia...quizas muy largo el tema para mi gusto.
