CAPTIONS TRANSLATION : 1. The JD-Xi lets you record patterns (sequences of notes) but not songs (lists of patterns). The pattern must be changed by hand before its end (4-4) or it will play repeatedly. 2. There are 4 tracks: 2 digital synthesizers, 1 analog monophonic synthesizer that I'm using for the bass, and 1 drum kit. Every pattern stores its instruments and their modifications. 3. Each pattern can be a maximum of 4 measures long. We can record 8 measures patterns by doubling their resolution and shifting down the tempo to a half (137 BPM originally -> 68.5 -> 69). 4. Now I'm going to modify the bass sound by using its filter. I'm playing the frequency and resonance controls improvising. These changes can be recorded too.

if i understand right you divided the track in parts, save in "tones+programs" and every time that you want to add more parts ' you actually continue with the next tone-program with more notes-sounds that you save it because the limitation of 4 bars?

Yes, I made one pattern, entering note by note on the sequencer and choosing appropiate instrument sounds for each line. I saved that sequences & instrument into one memory position and then I add or change some elements (like the beat) and when happy I saved it into the next memory slot. Some patterns play only once in the song, others repeat two or more times. This performance is swapping through my saved programs in the right order to play the whole track.
