I did. But I hear that, sadly, Roland is out of stock with those too.

My JD all of a sudden has certain keys that don’t sound. There’s a pattern of six good then two won’t play. This repeats all the way up. Is this the kind of keybed failure you experienced with this ribbon connection problem?

I don’t remember it being that consistent. I just had a majority of the keys that wouldn’t play. That said, if you see in the video the terrible flaw in the connecting ribbon, it wouldn’t surprise me if it were the case.

I got mine from Roland directly. I called them and they still had some. This was a few years back now and also, it was Roland US that I called. Not sure if they still carry it.

mick singh I got it from Roland directly. Call the corporate offices and ask for parts and repair. I think I’ve put the part number in the comments below. If not I can find them again

Hi I've tried ringing that number.. No one answering... I have a proposition for you... If I could get the money to you for that part would it be possible to arrange purchase and postage to the UK... My jd had been with me for a long time... Needs to be saved... Cheers

Thanks for the extra info. Great video, too. I tried repairing a few different ways, tried another green strip, tried 3D printing a part I found on GS and soldering wires, tried some expensive conductive adhesive... nothing has worked right to fix or bypass the connection between that blue ribbon and the green strip. I had called Roland before all of this and they were having none of that. Told me to contact a local certified repair shop. The shop told me their guy had just quit so I gave up on that route. Prob time to try again. In the meantime, I'll just watch your vids.

I called the Roland Parts and Service department at [phone]. Parts and Service is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm Pacific Time. The Part Number is 22935230. Best of luck!
