Can Behringer's JT-4000 recreate Sasha's Trance hit Xpander? Well this is my attempt using the JT-4000 as well as Roland's JP-8000 to see if they both measure up. Let me know what you think. Used the Crave layered a bell sound to make the background lead.

JT4K has a great tone, but it doesn't do JP anywhere like the JP. But, I still love the JT4K for what it is

Really well done! It shows that the JT-4000 really has that trance sound. I may have to get one after all! I'm kind of wondering how it will sound when you record it twice so you have double the voices. Both combined sounds great as well! The Crave mixed with bells is a nice touch, I did the same thing on a track once. Subscribed for more!

Not many people dare to conduct such comparison tests. Could it be that after testing, they found the quality to be too similar? It seems like they are worried about affecting the second-hand JP prices.

Thanks man, not sure great deep thought though. Die hard JP fans will say the JT is junk but im just trying to shed some light on the JT4000 and says its not that bad, and can sound similar

@@kneonic I personally compared many JP and JT sounds. The basic sound of the OSC should not differ much. Only the FILTER affects the sound, making it lean more towards analog. However, looking around, it seems like you're the only one brave enough to test it, which is commendable. It seems that most JP users are reluctant to truly test the differences between the two, probably to protect the second-hand market value.
