Yeah that info just might get me to buy this thing after all, but I’m still very disappointed that Roland left it a 4 voice unit. If they gave it at least 6 voices, or doubled the 4, we wouldn’t be talking about chaining. But here’s another possible issue: I would think the patch would not sound the same if you have the Juno 60 engine going and chained to the 106 module (Ju-06a to JU-06).

@@itsMakeMusic I got mine about 3 months ago, and pitch bend works. The modulation wheel can be paired with different settings depending on the sound you're using (Filter, LFO, Resonance, etc).

NOT how to I change C1 to C2, or any other saved chord, BUT how do I change the actual noted in each chord setting? like, how do I customize the noted played in C1? I know it's possible, and all the chords saved on mine are awful awful chords no one wants to hear the notes of together ever

Hey ! Thanks for the vid. I own the JU06 and I found the sound not hot and deep as I exepcted. So cold and metalic for me.. How does the JU06a sounds compared to the JU06 ?

It's not going to sound 100%. It's going to satisfy most people but not purists. I use it to get ideas down and can replace parts with a real juno if necessary but it saves having to have the original on all the time. The 06ais close to the juno 6 but missing a bit of fatness but can sound better than the 106. I personally think the chorus needs to be better on these juno boutiques and then it would be a lot closer to the real thing.

@@maccagrabme TC electron makes a June-60 guiat pedal that's suppose to model the juno chorus. I'd be curious to hear what this thing sounds like running through that. And it's only 50 bucks at sweetwater.

Why oh why Roland? WHY?! ffs why can the external clock in on the JU-06a work with the step sequencer but NOT the ARPEGIATOR? Why? are you nuts? The SH-01a ext clock works with arp & sequencer. The Original Juno 6, Juno 60, Jupiter 4, 6 & 8, the SH-101, all of these had arpegiators that clock synced via the external clock in via a drum machine trigger. Why build in a arpeggiator section that is hugely prominent on the front panel and the marketing, then build an external clk input, and not use in for the arp. Utter insanity. I want an answer. Anyone got an answer for me?

finally just got round to linking this up the juo6a to drum machine ,cant believe the arp doesnt sync with the clock in ,like on sh101 ,wonder if they can change this in an update

Volt7 Cool Tangs yes highly ridiculous and stupid. Technically it doesn't cost them a penny more to have this functionality included. Now the arpeggiater is useless in a set up. Stupidly enough it does respond to tempo, it just doesn't sync. Roland come on, fix this!!

Autotross Don’t bother. TBH I’m a huge fan of Roland but this just doesn’t sound good or strong enough, lacks character. Might as well use any synth app or plugin. Only worth it at €$£200 maximum.

The thing that bums me out the most about mine is that it has that nasally digital sound. Which of corse none of the original junos had. I assumed that they wouldn’t have such a digital sounding recreation. I have a system 1 and a jx03 boutique and they’re not as nasally sounding as this new Juno. Just my experience

FoivosApostolou I’m not sure it is better than a plug in sound wise. I like boutiques and own a JU-06a and to me it sounds a bit lifeless. Might be worth £220 max but not £€$350.

Deepmind 12 for 200 more than this plus the K-25 module gets you 8 more voices, a better keybed and way more synthing. Naturally you lose the portability but still...106 clone...
