The 2nd to last setting you had with chorus 2 on is like liquid gold to my ears. To me that is the most definitive synth sound ever. It's so reminiscent of classic NES and Sega games that I played growing up. Two big thumbs up. You have inspired me to start playing piano again, and get one of these!

Not to make all you vintage collectors cry...but I found one of these at a yard sale for...get ready...10 DOLLARS!!! The lady was selling stuff she found in her attic that once belonged to her grandson. The Vintage Gods smiled upon me!

Did it work right? The gamble in buying those sort of synths is that you never know what you'll get.

yes, most segments have delay from a TC Electronics D-Two. There's a single mono delay on some and a ping-pong delay on others.

absolutely reminds me of the sid chip in the c64. and i was thinking c64's sound is unique for 30 years! =)

agreed. they are rather simple, but roland put all the right ingredients on board. it does not enable you to route osc1 through vcf2, switched to bandpass, and then into the inverted vca1 again (whilst doing the opposite with osc2, plus noise) like a yamaha cs15 physics lab, but what the juno does, it does with a distinct "high end" tonal edge. it just sounds the part. big, clear, basic, beautiful. it has the ability to ground me when I get lost.

"The Juno 6/60 is a popular synth that is the subject of a lot of discussion, and much of it is negative. I am a huge fan of the Juno 6/60 and think it gets and unfair amount of criticism, primarily behind the veil of the internet" - huh? the Juno 6/60s are widely known to be the closest thing to getting the Jupiter-8 sound for thousands less...how is that "unfair"? 4.5/5 stars on VSE? they may be over-simple compared to some other synths, but that's about the only tic against them.

I hope I don't sound like an idiot here but why are the Juno 6 and the Juno 60 always lumped together? Aren't they different models??
@liranziv8 жыл бұрын
you have no idea how not idiot you are. they are totally different and this is so stupid to make them as 1 synth.
@itchyvinyl8 жыл бұрын
The 6 and 60 are almost identical, the main difference being that the 60 had preset storage capability. There are some other minute differences like the HPF's are slightly different. But, in a blind test you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference.
