I just purchased a Juno-G...I can't get the chord memory button to enable...The button doesn't light up. Ideas?

I bought one a couple of years back, I am trying to learn it myself. Good Lord this thing is supposed to do a lot of things! If I figure it out Ill let you know. Does anyone know why this keyboard has been discontinued?
